Downtown Champaign will serve as the backdrop for Friday Night Live, a free street-side performance series featuring multiple bands every week. Friday Night Live will be held every Friday from 6-9pm starting May 31st through August 23rd. Performances will be held at the intersections of Main & Fremont, Neil & Park, and Market & Taylor in Downtown Champaign. Friday Night Live will include an eclectic mix of music including rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz, R&B, funk, hip-hop, country, indie, and blues, along with a free kids’ activity such as bubbles, balloons, face painting, caricatures, hula-hooping, and glitter tattoos.
FRIDAY, July 5th:

6pm: J’Lyn Hope – looping R&B/soul
7:30pm: New Souls – soul/R&B/funk/90s
Neil & Park:
6pm: Ther’Up.Y – music for the soul
7:30pm: Crazy Johnny Band & the New Crew –rock/blues/pop
Fremont & Main (next to The Space):
6pm: Jaxon Dillon-Fish – singer/songwriter
7:30pm: Caleb Cook Band – country/rock/blues/jazz
